Levin’s broad experience has spanned a variety of leadership roles, including government, consulting, and marketing. While in government, Brad worked for one of the world’s largest group purchasing organizations, the Defense Supply Center Philadelphia. This experience led to consulting as a PACS subject matter expert for the renowned US Department of Defense’s Digital Imaging Network–Picture Archiving and Communications System (DIN-PACS) initiative, as well as to consulting for top healthcare institutions across the US.
He then spearheaded marketing for two web-based PACS start-ups, first AMICAS, and then Dynamic Imaging. Both firms experienced rapid commercial growth leading to acquisition, by Vitalworks and GE Healthcare, respectively. In his most recent role, Brad was GE Healthcare’s commercial Marketing Director, where he had radiology and cardiology marketing responsibility for their RIS, PACS and CVIT product portfolios.
“Today’s imaging needs are significantly different than they were even just a few years ago,” said Brad Levin, General Manager, North America. “While a small number of providers in the US and Canada are implementing RIS/PACS for the first time, most are wrestling with other challenges. For example, fixing today’s distributed reading, musical chairs workflow. Getting results faster, with more capability, to referring physicians. Integrating images to the EMR and vendor neutral archives. Visage overcomes these unmet needs with products that deliver differentiated care. I’m privileged to join the Visage team at such an exciting time.”
In addition to general manager responsibilities for the US and Canada, Brad will also have responsibility for global marketing. “I’m thrilled to welcome Brad to Visage. He’s a seasoned, respected industry leader whose strengths will make an immediate impact across our global team, “ said Dr. Sam Hupert, Chief executive Officer, Visage Imaging and Pro Medicus. “Under Brad’s leadership, we’ll continue to help customers improve patient care through the use of Visage’s thin-client, ultra-fast, native multi-dimensional technology.”
